Biography

Tomás Enrique "Tom" Araya Díaz is a Chilean-American musician and vocalist/bassist of the thrash metal band Slayer, known for his distinctive style and lyrical themes, including serial killers. Born in Viña del Mar, Chile, he moved to Los Angeles at age five and began playing bass at eight, inspired by his brother's guitar skills and classic rock bands like The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Araya has been a constant member of Slayer since its inception.
