Richard Maximilian Ney was a talented American actor and investment counselor born on November 12, 1916, in New York City. He is best remembered for his Oscar-winning role in the WWII film Mrs. Miniver (1942) and his short-lived marriage to co-star Greer Garson, as well as notable appearances in The Premature Burial, Midnight Lace, and Ivy.
