Marcus du Sautoy is a British mathematician and populariser of science, born on August 26, 1965, in London. He has held prestigious academic positions at Oxford University and the Mathematical Association, serving as president and fellow to various colleges, including Wadham College and New College. Du Sautoy was also awarded Professor of Mathematics in 1996, recognizing his expertise in mathematics.
