Biography

Jutoupi, a Taiwanese pop artist, was born in February 1966 in Tainan. He rose to fame in 1994 as the "Bob Dylan of Taiwan" after joining Rock Records, where he adopted the confrontational name Jutoupi. Known for his provocative music style, which blended Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English, Jutoupi brought a new musical style to Asia in the 1990s.
