Louis Hofmann is a German actor born on June 3, 1997, in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, and raised in Cologne. He gained recognition for his roles in the 2011 film Tom Sawyer and the critically acclaimed war drama Land of Mine (2015), for which he received the Bodil Award for Best Supporting Actor. Hofmann's breakout international role came as Jonas Kahnwald in the Netflix series Dark (2017–2020).
