János Xantus
Biography
János Xantus was a Hungarian film director, screenwriter, actor, and university professor. Notable for his early roles in films such as "A sípoló macskakö" (1972), he went on to establish himself as a prominent figure in Hungarian cinema, directing notable works including "Eszkimó asszony fázik" (1983) and "Waters: A fal" (1992). Xantus was also an accomplished actor and received the Balázs Béla Award in 1988.
