Biography

Jacques Languirand was a Canadian radio host, writer, actor, and director who hosted the popular radio show "Par 4 chemins" for 42 years. He was a two-time Governor General's Award winner and received the Member of the Order of Canada in 1987 for his services to communications in Canada. Languirand also appeared in the 2012 science fiction film "Mars et Avril" and was the father of synthpop band Trans-X leader Pascal Languirand.
