George Canyon

Biography

George Canyon is a Canadian country music singer born Frederick George Lays on August 22, 1970. He was the runner-up on the second season of Nashville Star in 2004 and later won accolades for his hit "My Name" and album One Good Friend. Canyon has also served as Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and has led a varied career outside of music, including roles as a bylaw enforcement officer and recording studio owner.
