Biography

Denise Georgette Gordy is a niece of Motown founder Berry Gordy and the mother of actress Bianca Lawson. She began her acting career in 1972 with a role in Lady Sings the Blues and later appeared in Black Fist and Toy Soldiers. Gordy contributed vocals to the soundtrack album for Black Fist and recorded the song "Let's Do It Again".
