Aku Hirviniemi is a Finnish actor born on December 5, 1983, in Riihimäki. He gained widespread recognition in Finland with his role as Marja Tyrni in the weekly sketch comedy television show Putous (2010), which crowned him "sketch comedy character of the year" in its first season. Hirviniemi also starred in MTV3's police drama series Roba from 2012 to 2016. He later appeared in the 2017 war film The Unknown Soldier, playing the lead role of Urho Hietanen.
