Danny Lloyd is a former American child actor best known for his iconic role as Danny Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. At age six, he was cast due to his ability to maintain concentration, with Kubrick protecting him from the horror aspects of the film. After starring in Will: G. Gordon Liddy and retiring from acting, Lloyd became a professor at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in 2004.
