Joaquín Garrido is a Mexican actor born on May 17, 1952, in Mexico City. He began his professional acting career at 17 and has since appeared in over 20 films, including notable roles in "The Kids Are All Right" (2010), "Like Water for Chocolate" (1992), and "Bittersüße Schokolade" (1992). A published poet and playwright, Garrido has also toured internationally.
