Biography

Edgard Navarro is a Brazilian filmmaker born on October 12, 1949, in Salvador. He began his career in cinema in 1976 with short films made in Super-8 and went on to direct the award-winning shorts "Porta de Fogo" (1985) and "Lin e Katazan" (1986). His feature film debut was "Eu Me Lembro" in 2005, followed by his notable role as Antonio Conselheiro in the 2018 film "Sertânia".
