Frank Stiefel
Biography
Frank Stiefel is a filmmaker and photographer born to a Jewish family in New York City. He made his directorial debut with the short film Ingelore, a personal documentary about his mother's survival of the Holocaust, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2010. Stiefel's subsequent film, Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405, won several awards, including the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject in 2017.
