Christian J. Frank

Biography

Christian Julius Frank was a character actor in early Hollywood cinema, best known for his memorable turn as an irascible cop in the Laurel and Hardy short "You're Darn Tootin'" (1928). Born in New York City on March 13, 1890, he appeared in 65 films between 1920 and 1948. Frank's career spanned nearly three decades, bringing him to Los Angeles, where he passed away on December 10, 1967.
