Edouard Bamporiki

Biography

Edouard Bamporiki was born on October 24, 1983, in Nyamasheke District, Rwanda. He gained national exposure as a talented actor through an episodic theatre program on the national radio at age 20. A lawyer by education, he later entered politics, serving as Member of Parliament from 2013 and State Minister in the Ministry of Youth and Culture until his corruption conviction led to imprisonment in May 2022.
