Biography

Maria Gunilla Johansson Tovle, born April 7, 1956 in Stockholm, is a Swedish actress and professor who began her career at age six in the TV series Vi på Saltkråkan. She studied acting and later earned degrees in research on acting, becoming Professor of Research in the Arts at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. Johansson has appeared in several films and television shows, including "The Simple-Minded Murderer" and "Operation Leo".
