Florence Louise Fisher Bacolod was a notable American motivational speaker in the 1960s and 1970s who shared her personal struggles as a heroin addict and prostitute with high school audiences. Her provocative stories and eccentric stage presence made her a cult figure, with VHS tapes of her talks becoming collector's items after her death in 1972. Fisher was born to Lithuanian Jewish parents in Brooklyn, New York, and had multiple short-lived marriages.
