Volker Michalowski, born Volker Jablinski on January 31, 1971 in Dresden, is a German actor and musician. He gained recognition for his roles as the Mailman in "Jim Button and the Wild 13" (2020) and Dr. Arnold Meier in "Salt and Fire" (2016). Growing up in Dresden-Wilder Mann, Michalowski was drawn to punk music and activism, which led him to form a band with friends in 1989 and face arrest by the Ministry for State Security on multiple occasions during his teenage years.
