István Rozsos

Biography

István Rozsos was a Hungarian actor, twice awarded the Jászai Mari Prize. Born István Róth in Nagyvárad in 1922, he began his career on stage with a piarist school production and later studied to become an actor but due to numbering restrictions, worked as a commercial artist instead. He joined the Belvárosi Színház after being discovered by Bárdos Artúr, where he played roles that brought him success and recognition among both audiences and critics.
