Biography

Carol Elizabeth Heiss Jenkins is an American figure skater and actress, born on January 20, 1940, in New York City. She won the 1960 Olympic gold medal in Ladies Singles, while also capturing five World Championships (1956-1960) and a 1956 Olympic silver medal. After retiring from competitive figure skating, she pursued an acting career, starring in the 1961 film "Snow White and the Three Stooges."
