Mex Urtizberea is a versatile Argentine artist born on October 25, 1960, in Buenos Aires. He co-founded the group MIA in 1980 and released his debut album with La Sonora del Plata in 1988. In 1994, he collaborated with Alfredo Casero and Lito Vitale on the album Gestando a la Halibour. Urtizberea has also ventured into acting, most notably as Rufo in the 2002 film "Valentin".
