Biography

Jimi Bani is an Indigenous Australian actor of Torres Strait Islander descent, born on Mabuiag Island to a tribal chief father. He began his acting career landing a lead role in the SBS drama miniseries RAN: Remote Area Nurse, before further training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He went on to graduate and perform in notable stage productions, including Jandamarra and Romeo and Juliet, showcasing his talent as an emerging artist.
