Julianne Phillips is an American model and actress born on May 6, 1960, in Evanston, Illinois. She began her career as a model in the early 1980s before transitioning to acting, initially drawing attention for her role as Becky Culpepper in "Fletch Lives" (1989). Her personal life was also in the spotlight, having been married to Bruce Springsteen from 1991-1997. She later gained recognition for her portrayal of Francesca "Frankie" Reed on the TV series Sisters (1991–1996).
