Tariq Nasheed is an American film producer and internet personality known for his Hidden Colors film series and commentary on social media. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he spent most of his youth in Birmingham, Alabama, before transitioning from a career as a rapper and dating expert to documentary filmmaking. He coined the term "Foundational Black American" in 2019, sparking controversy with his conspiracy theory-promoting views.
