Dennis Cole

Biography

Dennis Lee Cole was an American film and television actor born on July 19, 1940, who began performing in Detroit before transitioning to Los Angeles in the 1960s. He gained recognition for his starring role in the police drama Felony Squad from 1966 to 1969 and made guest appearances in numerous TV series, including Medical Center and Fantasy Island. After the 1991 murder of his son, Cole became an activist against violence on television.
