A Hollywood glamour girl of the 1940s, Patricia Alphin, aka 'Peaches', began her career as a model and local beauty pageant contestant, landing a contract at Universal-International after working in the mailroom. She eventually secured a starring role in "Ma and Pa Kettle" (1949) and married Jack Moorman, with whom she had two children before divorcing in the 1970s.
