Biography

David Joseph Madden was a Canadian-born American actor, best known for his iconic role as Reuben Kincaid, the manager of The Partridge Family, and his recurring role as diner customer Earl Hicks on the sitcom Alice. Born on December 17, 1931, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, Madden spent his early years in Port Huron, Michigan, before moving to Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated from high school in 1950 and began his acting career, eventually incorporating his interest in magic into his comedy act.
