Marat Basharov is a Volga Tatar film actor and TV host born on August 22, 1974. He has appeared in 30 films since 1994, including the critically acclaimed "The Barber of Siberia" (1998) and the 2000 Cannes Film Festival selection "The Wedding". A laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2002), Basharov was also awarded Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012.
