Rodney Evans

Biography

Rodney Evans is a critically acclaimed filmmaker and lecturer based in New York City. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, Evans graduated from Brown University and the California Institute of the Arts before producing his first feature-length film, Brother to Brother, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. His subsequent work includes Vision Portraits, a documentary that premiered at SXSW, and Billy and Aaron, selected at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
