Philip Saville is a British actor and director, born in London on October 28, 1930. He made a name for himself in the 1960s with notable television plays, including Harold Pinter's A Night Out and the lost Madhouse on Castle Street, where Bob Dylan made his UK acting debut. Saville's career spanned film, television, and theater, earning him two BAFTA Awards for Best Drama Series.
