Namkoong Won was a renowned South Korean actor born Hong Gyeong-il in 1934. He gained widespread recognition in the 1960s alongside fellow actors Shin Seong-il and Choi Moo-ryong, earning multiple awards for his performances, including Favorite Film Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
