Ágnes Hranitzky is a Hungarian film editor and director born in 1945 in Derecske, Hungary. She studied film editing at the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest before collaborating with Béla Tarr as an editor and later co-director on several films, including Werckmeister Harmonies, The Man from London, and The Turin Horse. Her work has been recognized with awards such as the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit and the Béla Balázs Award.
