Biography

Željko Königsknecht was born on February 12, 1961, in Vukovar to a family of mixed German-Talijan and Serbian heritage. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 1983 and became a prominent figure in Croatian theatre, with notable roles including Sanjin in "Suma summarum" (2010). Königsknecht also co-founded the Teatar komedije Jazavac in 2003.
