Biography

Pauletta Washington is an American actress born on September 28, 1950. A pageant standout in her youth, she was the first African American contestant to compete in the Miss North Carolina pageant in 1970. In 1983, she married actor Denzel Washington with whom she has four children. She has appeared in two notable films: "Tell It Like a Woman" (2022) and "The Real MVP: The Wanda Durant Story" (2016).
