Richard White is a versatile American actor and opera singer born on August 4, 1953 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He has had notable roles in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, as well as its animated series House of Mouse, earning him recognition for his portrayal of Gaston. On stage, he has performed on Broadway in The Most Happy Fella and in revivals of Brigadoon, South Pacific, and Auntie Mame.
