Ashley Austin Morris is a comedian, playwright, and actress born in San Antonio, Texas. She gained recognition for her role as Francine Carruthers in the PBS Kids revival of The Electric Company, which aired from 2009 to 2011. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, she co-starred in a short comedy romance and wrote a play about Lady M, Nora, and Medea being saved by Hillary Clinton.
