Kirsty Wark
Biography
Kirsty Wark is a Scottish television presenter and journalist, best known for her long-running tenure as the longest-serving presenter of BBC Two's news and current affairs programme Newsnight from 1993 to 2024. Prior to Newsnight, she worked on BBC Radio Scotland and has interviewed notable figures including British prime ministers, American presidents, and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2017.
