Chen Yan-yan

Biography

Chen Yanyan was a Chinese actress and film producer who made her mark in the cinema of Republic of China, British Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Her breakout role came when she met director Cai Chusheng at 14, leading to a screen test that eventually landed her a job with the Lianhua Film Company. Chen went on to appear in notable films such as "The Young Avenger" (1972) and "Love and Duty" (1931), cementing her legacy in Chinese cinema.
