Andy Irons was a professional surfer who dominated the sport, winning three world titles (2002, 2003, 2004) and numerous elite tour victories. He also claimed wins at nearly every ASP calendar venue, except for Gold Coast, Brazil, and Portugal. Irons' talent earned him recognition beyond the surfing community, including a special declaration from the Governor of Hawaii, making February 13 "Andy Irons Day."
