Stephen C. Meyer

Biography

Stephen Charles Meyer is an American philosopher of science and historian, born in 1958, raised as a Catholic, and educated at Whitworth College, where he earned two honors degrees. He went on to become a geophysicist at ARCO before pursuing graduate studies in England, earning a Master of Philosophy and later a Doctorate. Meyer is a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute and director of its Center for Science and Culture, advocating for intelligent design.
