Shoichi Kofujita

Biography

Shoichi Kofujita was a Japanese actor and former child actor, born on December 2, 1916, in Tokyo. He debuted in film at the age of four in 1920, initially with the Iwai Kumei Company, before joining Iwai and fellow actor Iwai Kiyosuke at the Iwai Kumei Studio. Kofujita's film career spanned the 1920s, with notable roles in early Japanese cinema, including "Otona no miru ehon - Umarete wa mita keredo" (1932).
