Biography

Sigfrid Monleón is a Valencian filmmaker and screenwriter born in 1964. He has been nominated for three Goya Awards for his work on various films, including the documentary "¡Hay motivo!" (2005), which explored the lives of several filmmakers, and "El último truco" (2008), about the life and work of special effects master Emilio Ruiz del Río. His film "L'illa de l'holandès" earned him recognition in 2001.
