András Ambrus

Biography

András Ambrus is a Hungarian actor and writer born on November 29, 1925, in Joseni. He graduated from the Budapest Acting Academy in 1953 and began his career with Ifjúsági Színház, later performing at Nacion Teatro and Jókai Teatro. In 1978, he joined the theater troupe of Magyar Filmgyártó Vállalat, a position he held until his retirement in 1985.
