Stephen Gurewitz is an American film director, actor, and film editor known for his breakthrough work in the 2010s indie cinema movement, particularly with Marvin, Seth and Stanley, which he also starred in alongside Alex Karpovsky. His performances have been praised by critics, including Richard Brody of The New Yorker, who deemed him "not to be missed". Gurewitz is also a noted antiquer and shares a resemblance with actor Sean Penn.
