György Pálos was a Hungarian actor renowned for his portrayal of Szíjjártó István in "The Corporal and Others" (1965). Born on May 8, 1920, in Budapest to a musical mother and father from the MTK football club, he pursued acting after completing the Országos Színészegyesület színiiskolá. After being drafted into the army during World War II, Pálos returned to acting in 1947 and made notable appearances on stage and screen, including a brief stint at Vidám Színpadon.
