Lou Simon

Biography

Lou Simón, a Cuban-American filmmaker, was born in Havana and immigrated to the U.S. at nine years old. She began writing short stories at ten and later pursued a law career, but returned to her passion for storytelling in 2010. Since then, Simón has written, produced, and directed four feature films, all of which have won awards at various festivals and obtained worldwide distribution.
