Nic de Jager is a South African broadcaster and actor born in Somerset-West, Cape Province, on October 28, 1940. He rose to fame in 1981 for his role as Jack Hind in the comedy "The Gods Must Be Crazy". De Jager also gained recognition for his early appearances in the first Afrikaans TV-drama series, "Dubbele Alibi", and the pioneering television series "Dokter Dokter", as well as his continued work in news.
