Emmett John Scanlan is an Irish actor born on January 31, 1979, in Dublin. He gained recognition for playing the villainous Brendan Brady in Hollyoaks (2011-2013) and later starred alongside Cillian Murphy in Peaky Blinders (2013-2016). His notable roles also include appearances in The Fall (2013-2014), Breakdown (2016), and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).
