Salim Kumar was a National Award-winning Indian film actor and mimic predominantly acting in Malayalam cinema. Notable for his roles in drama films like Achanurangatha Veedu, Gramophone, and Perumazhakkalam, he won the National Award and Kerala State award for Best Actor in 2010 for his role as Abu in Adaminte Makan Abu. He also won a Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor for his performance in Achanurangatha Veedu in 2005.
